We are looking for a person who can combine business perspective with the ability to lead people and projects.

This is a role for someone who:

  • likes things to run smoothly, and for data and decisions to make sense,
  • wants to have a real impact on how the team works and how projects grow,

This is an interim role with an option for extension, combining strategic and operational perspectives. We are looking for a seasoned leader who sees what can be improved and has the ability to implement it.

Who we are:

We solve business challenges through tailored web solutions: WordPress, eCommerce, Cyber Security, DevOps, FinOps, as well as dedicated systems for clients from Poland, Europe, and the USA.

We work for brands such as Ĺ»abka, Biedronka, Brand24, Berkeley University of California, but also for local communities and non-profit organizations (Fundacja Adapter, or Pokonaj ChĹ‚oniaka).

We manage projects holistically, cooperate with clients as partners, and communicate transparently.

Your Tasks:

  • Independently leading projects that require contact with key clients,
  • Monitoring project statuses, profitability, margin, and the quality of operational processes to ensure everything runs smoothly and predictably,
  • Mentoring and supporting PMs with current challenges and development, resolving escalations, and advising on project decisions,
  • Supervising quality, process, and project results, and reacting to threats,
  • Direct cooperation with the Tech Lead and Sales Department to jointly achieve goals,
  • Developing relationships with clients and within the team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in leading a team in at least 1 company and several years of experience in IT project management,
  • Can combine strategic thinking with operational execution of tasks,
  • Has business sense, basic sales skills, and understands how project decisions affect margin, the client, and the team,
  • Accurately analyzes data and draws conclusions, noticing in advance when a project is losing rhythm,
  • Is able to make decisions and take responsibility for them,
  • Communicates transparently, specifically and can state things bluntly during difficult conversations, while maintaining a partner-like relationship (with the client and the team),
  • Is fluent in Polish and English,
  • Lives in WrocĹ‚aw (or nearby) and can work in the office 4 days a week.
