Chief Accountant
We’re looking for an experienced finance professional who understands what it means to take full ownership of accounting and can independently manage this area.
Beyond full accounting responsibilities, we’re also looking for someone open to supporting our companies in broader financial topics, including analysis, controlling, and financial optimisation.
We seek someone who knows their craft, is proactive, can handle less standard situations, and sees accounting as a function that plays a key role in supporting the business.
If, in addition to strong accounting expertise, you also have experience in financial management, controlling, or financial planning, we’re open to expanding the scope of this role.

What you’ll be responsible for:
- managing and overseeing full accounting for the companies within our group: 1 joint-stock company and 5 limited liability companies,
- managing monthly and year-end closing and preparing financial statements,
- preparing tax declarations and required statutory reporting,
- resolving both day-to-day and more complex accounting and tax matters,
- cooperating with auditors, tax authorities, banks, advisors, and other external partners,
- working closely with the Management Boards and internal teams across the group,
- improving accounting processes and the way the function is organized,
- coordinating the work of a Junior Accountant,
- supporting new projects and changes that come with the group’s continued growth.
You’ll be a great fit if:
- you have at least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant, including independent responsibility for the accounting of one or more companies,
- you have very good knowledge of Symfonia FK,
- you independently prepare financial statements and manage year-end closing,
- you have a very good understanding of the Polish Accounting Act and tax regulations and know how to apply them in practice,
- you take ownership of your area and consistently close tasks on time,
- you can independently analyse a new situation, gather the information you need, and determine the right way forward,
- you’re comfortable working with people outside the accounting function, communicate clearly, and focus on finding solutions — independently or together with the team,
- you work well in an environment that gives you a high level of autonomy and doesn’t rely on rigid procedures for everything,
- your English is good enough to work with documents and international partners,
- you live in Wrocław or the surrounding area and are comfortable working on-site.
Nice to have:
- experience managing accounting for a group of companies or related entities,
- experience supporting management in financial decision-making, including controlling, budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, cash flow, cost and profitability analysis, and currency monitoring,
- experience automating accounting and financial processes and implementing improvements that reduce manual work, or simply a strong ability to spot areas that could be simplified, automated, or better organised,
- experience with accounting for companies in the property development sector and securing financing for development investments.

- monthly salary between 18 000 – 23 000 PLN net on B2B/ 15 000 – 19 000 PLN gross on employment contract, depending on your experience and skills
